New York Times HTML Slideshows

In order to better monetize on the popular 300x250 & 336x280 ad unit, we wanted to reimagine the slideshow experience which had previously been limited to a pop-up window. By bringing the slideshow inpage to generate page clicks, we were able to improve the user experience by allowing for a sleeker, more slimmed down version that would elegantly showcase the photo. I worked with Elliott Malkin through the IA and the visual design under the direction of Khoi Vinh.
